Now we are going to verify our site through google analytics. You have to have connected your website with google analytics before the next steps. Now put the web address (exact what it looks like online) on the URL prefix box & continue. Make sure that you are using the same google account for google analytics and google search console account. When the verification is ok then you will get a message like

Google Search Console setup with WordPress plugin verification.
Here we are going to verify the google search console with a WordPress plugin (if your site is a WordPress site)
Now log on to your google account or create a new google account.

When you continue, you will get a screen like below.

Now we are going to verify our site through google analytics.

Mure sure that you are using the same google account for google analytics and google search console account.
Now click on the HTML Tag
You get a code and copy that.
You have to paste the code at the <head> section of your website.
You will need a plugin to complete this task.
So back to your WordPress dashboard and find a plugin named “insert headers and footers” by WPBiginner.

Install and active that one.
Now go to Setting > Insert Headers and Footers > Script in Header > Paste the code > Save

Now we have to verify this.
Back to Google Serach Console > HTML Tag > Verify

When it is ok, then you get a screen like below.
